Midwest Victim Services is a non-profit agency that works in partnership with the RCMP in our detachment areas. Our mandate is to respond effectively to the needs of victims of crime and trauma. MVS has been serving Lloydminster and area since 1998. Midwest Victim Services is overseen by a Board of Directors which is made up of RCMP Representatives as well as citizens from our community. Midwest Victim Services is run by Program Coordinator, Jennifer Hauberg and employees 2 Assistant Coordinators and a team of RCMP Security cleared and specially trained volunteer advocates.
Midwest Victim Services is a police-based Victim Services unit that covers the RCMP detachment areas of Lloydminster, Maidstone, Turtleford, St. Walburg, Glaslyn and Onion Lake. The main office is located in the Lloydminster RCMP detachment at 5106 44 Street, Lloydminster, AB.
Most clients are referred to Victim Services by the RCMP, but victims can contact MVS directly should they wish to inquire about support services. Crisis call out is available by RCMP request only.
Thanks to our staff and dedicated trained volunteers, Midwest Victim Services is able to provide support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
